One of the art pieces that he is sending to the show is a brand new original colored pencil drawing that once again features \"Luna,\" the female anthro wolf character that he designed 14-years ago and recently started drawing again! The new art piece is called, "Luna Showing Off Her Bikini Bottom," it is an 8.5"x11" drawing matted to 11"x14", and it shows Luna in a racy but fun pin-up style pose where she is playfully showing you her bikini-clad rear end! This will be his 5th year participating as a mail-in artist in this convention\'s art show, and he will be entering a full 55-art pieces into the show spread across three 4\'x4\' General Audience Panels and two 4\'x4\' Mature Audience panels. 2 of the 55-art pieces are brand new (they were finished just last Saturday!) and they\'ll be making their debut at this art show. The first new art piece is a small original colored pencil drawing on a 2.5"x3.5" art card, matted to 5"x7", featuring a female gray wolf furry character of Daniel Keller\'s named "Luna" that up until now he actually hadn\'t drawn in 14-years! This poor wolf gal was originally created and drawn multiple times back in 2002 and was going to be the co-star of a furry Sci-Fi story that he was outlining at the time, but unfortunately for her his mind wondered onto other things and he never got back to her. That all changed last weekend however as she once again captured his imagination, and he ended up drawing her wearing an updated version of her favorite green bikini that she wears in all of her drawings. The drawing is called "Luna Back in Her Green Bikini," and you can see a scan of this art piece on the Project Destiny Studios™ website here. The starting bid price for this art piece at the Texas Furry Fiesta Art Show is $15, and Daniel Keller hopes that this swimsuit-loving wolfess blast from the past finds a good home! The second new art piece for this convention is a mature audience piece and features one of Daniel Keller\'s female furry vixen characters, "Clover." It is also a small original colored pencil drawing on a 2.5"x3.5" art card, matted to 5"x7". This art piece has a bit of a St. Patrick\'s Day theme, and as such is shows Clover\'s nude body with nothing but a four-leaf-clover being pressed against it. The art piece is called "Feeling Lucky," and has the lucky starting bid price of $7 in the Texas Furry Fiesta Art Show. In addition, Project Destiny Studios is proud to report that new releases of the plug-in will now be a lot more rapid and frequent. This because Project Destiny Studios now has a fully functional Mozilla build environment in-house, and can compile all of the Mozilla source code required for the plug-in locally instead of relying on third-parties to do it. document.write('Last weekend Daniel Keller, the founder of Project Destiny Studios™, was certified by the National Weather Service as an Advanced-Level SKYWARN severe weather spotter. SKYWARN is a program that was started by the National Weather Service in the 1970\'s to train local volunteers to be able to make accurate observations of certain weather phenomenons such as wind gusts, hail size, rainfall amounts, and cloud formations that could indicate developing dangerous weather or tornados. These storm spotter volunteers then report their observations to the National Weather Service via telephone, the Internet, or Amateur Radio. This service is important because it allows meteorologists to have trained spotters in the field that can report back visual observations of cloud formations that look suspicious on Doppler RADAR. Today\'s Doppler RADAR technology is not fullproof at detecting when tornados are occuring or about to occur, so it is often up to SKYWARN spotters to report these conditions to the National Weather Service so that they can sound the warning sirens and inform people to take cover. To find out more about SKYWARN you can visit the official SKYWARN website at www.skywarn.org.');

Every one of these illustrations is eligible to be nominated for an Annual Anthropomorphic Literature and Arts Award (a.k.a. "Ursa Major Award"), which is the Furry Fandom\'s equivalent to the Science Fiction Fandom\'s prestigious Hugo Award. Daniel Keller has worked very hard to get that many illustrations published in print during this last year, and if you enjoyed any Daniel Keller\'s drawings he would greatly appreciate it if you would nominate them for an Ursa Major Award. To make it easy for you to nominate one of his works, Daniel Keller has added his 5 favorite published drawings from 2006 to the Ursa Major Awards 2006 Recommended Anthropomorphics List, which gives you all of the information that you need to know to make the nomination! Nominations are NOW OPEN and run until February 28th, so please make your nominations as soon as you can! As always, we are deeply grateful for any support that you provide for us! How to Nominate Daniel Keller for an Ursa Major Award: First, you must enroll your e-mail address with the Ursa Major Award website to be able to make your nominations. To enroll, please enter your e-mail address into the online form at the Ursa Major Awards Enrollment Page where it says "Get Enrollment Key." An enrollment key will be sent to the e-mail address that you specified on the online form. Either follow the link given to you in the e-mail, or enter your enrollment key into the text box on the Ursa Major Awards Enrollment Page. You must fill in at least your real name and your country into the form-- the Ursa Major Awards doesn\'t accept anonymous nominations. Choose up to 5 works that you would like to see nominated in each category, and if you would like to nominate any of Daniel Keller\'s drawings for the "Published Illustration\" category, you can find a list of the drawings that are eligible for nomination either on the Ursa Major Awards 2006 Recommended Anthropomorphics List or any drawing that is listed as having been published in 2006 in the Commissioned and Published Artwork Gallery on Daniel Keller\'s website. document.write('Tue, 23 Jan 2007 15:32:42 GMT
');
document.write('Artwork by Daniel Keller of Project Destiny Studios™ was featured as one of the official designs of the Further Confusion convention\'s attendee badges this year! Since the convention had a James Bond spy theme this year, Daniel Keller hid a secret message on the badge that was enciphered with the German Kriegsmarine M3 Enigma code machine. He then gave the instructions on how to decipher the secret message in one of the convention\'s "Furly" newsletters. To all of those who attempted to decipher the secret message based on the instructions given in the newsletter, here is what should have been revealed: The Secret Message Decoded: Using a M3 Enigma machine simulator with the correct settings, the enciphered text "UAYJ WWCT AMAK HQZA KAET NJXP FNYC NHAF GGM" should have been deciphered by the machine as "FURT HERC ONFU SION WPPU FURY OURE YESO NLY" Next you need to correct the spacing of the 4-letter groups so that they create words. With the spacing corrected, the text becomes "FURTHER CONFUSION WPPU FOR YOUR EYES ONLY" The 4-letter group "WPPU" is actually a 4-digit number, which is why it still looks like garbled text after being deciphered on the Enigma machine. On a German M3 Enigma machine numbers are converted into letters as follows: 0=P, 1=Q, 2=W, 3=E, 4=R, 5=T, 6=Z, 7=U, 8=I, and 9=O. Therefore, the 4-letter group "WPPU" actually means the number "2007" The completely deciphered message should now read: "FURTHER CONFUSION 2007 FOR YOUR EYES ONLY" Congratulations if you were able to decipher the message correctly! You would make the World War II codebreakers at Bletchley Park proud! Hopefully no one is disappointed that all that the secret message on the convention badge contained was the Further Confusion convention\'s name, year, and slogan. When I originally decided to place an enchiphered message into the background of the badge I was doing it for appearance only, and never actually intended to have people try to decipher it. As corny as using the convention\'s title and slogan may be, at least the secret message didn\'t turn out to read, "Be Sure To Drink Your Ovaltine!" Besides, I like to think that half of the fun of any endeavor is the process of finding the solution, so hopefully you enjoyed learning how the Enigma machine worked and how to use it! Thanks for participating!');

document.write('An illustration made by Daniel Keller of Project Destiny Studios™ will be appearing in this year\'s Further Confusion furry convention program book! The convention has a "James Bond\" spy theme this year, so to go along with the spirit of the theme Daniel Keller drew a furry parody drawing one of American popular culture\'s very first spys and superheros, the mystrious \"Shadow!\" While not exactly James Bond related, The Shadow was quite the spy being able to cloud mens\' minds with the power of mass-hypnosis so that they couldn\'t see him. He used this amazing power of invisibility to bring down organized crime, save kidnap victims, stop terrorist attacks, and protect the innocent, and often sent criminals to the "death house," where they would "get what was coming to them, every single volt!" The drawing was made to parody the The Shadow pulp novel covers of the late 1930\'s and 1940\'s, and the title has been given a very funny furry-related name, "The Scritch of Death!" In the furry fandom "scritching" is what you do when you lightly run your fingers through the fur of someone\'s fursuit costume, so the title would literally mean "The Scratch of Death" to those outside of the fandom. Be sure to check out this drawing on page 11 of the Furry Confusion convention program book if you are attending, and always remember, "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? document.write('Further Confusion, the largest furry convention on the U.S. West Coast, will be featuring artwork by Project Destiny Studios™ artist Daniel Keller on their convention badges this year! Daniel Keller\'s artwork was chosen as one of the winners of Further Confusion\'s annual badge design contest this year, and as a result attendees at Further Confusion can choose to have Daniel Keller\'s artwork placed on their convention badge! The convention was having a James Bond theme this year called "Fur Your Eyes Only," and to go along with that theme Daniel Keller designed a badge with a sexy femme cheetah spy wearing a dark hat and trenchcoat and carrying a secret message from the OSS, the World War II predacessor of the CIA. In the background of the drawing are 4-letter groups of seemingly random letters, however these letters are not random at all-- they are actually a real coded message! The message was encoded with a World War II German Navy (a.k.a. "Kriegsmarine") M3 Enigma code machine, so if you have a German M3 Enigma machine simulator on your computer you can decode this message yourself! Details about how to decode the secret message are provided below. Further Confusion is a furry convention that is taking place from January 18-22 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California. To Decode the Badge\'s Secret Message: Download an M3 Enigma machine simulator for your computer, such as the The M3 Enigma Simulator v.1.0.1 for Windows by Geoff Sullivan. Set the machine to use the "B" reflector Set the machine to use the following code wheels (from left to right): III, II, I Set the code wheels (from left to right) to the letters F, C, and U Set the Steckerverbindungen to have the connections "FC" and "PU." The entire coded message hidden in the background of the badge is "UAYJ WWCT AMAK HQZA KAET NJXP FNYC NHAF GGM" Type those letters in that order on the M3 Enigma Machine\'s keyboard, and the hidden message should be revealed! If you get any short grouping of letters that decode into what looks to be gibberish, what you are looking at may be the digits of a number that was substituted by letters. On an Enigma Machine 0=P, 1=Q, 2=W, 3=E, 4=R, 5=T, 6=Z, 7=U, 8=I, and 9=O. If any of you successfully decode the message, feel free to e-mail me to let m know what it says, and I will tell you if you got the message correct or not! This exercise is meant to be fun, so be sure to enjoy yourself while you take the time to learn how the German M3 Enigma code machine works! Further Confusion 2007 Banner');

Mephit FurMeet is a furry convention that takes place in Memphis, Tennesee, each year, and they have a skunk theme for the convention. Because this is the tenth year that the convention is being held, most of the t-shirt designs in the contest either play on the number "10," have some kind of anniversary theme, or play off of the letter "X" or the Roman numeral "X". Daniel Keller\'s two t-shirt designs incorporate the Roman numeral X by parodying the Apple Macintosh OSX operating system logo and the old Apple Macintosh "Think Different" advertising campaign. Both designs feature Daniel Keller\'s cute new female skunk character, "Tiffany," and would make great t-shirts! The contest ends on Saturday, August 5th, 2006, so if you would like either of Daniel Keller\'s two designs to win please be sure to visit the Mephit FurMeet T-Shirt Contest Page and show your support by voting for him-- he would greatly appreciate it! The answer to that question is that Foxee\'s website now has an Internet domain name from the tropical island territory of Tokelau! Tokelau, also known as The Union Islands, is a non-self governing territory of New Zealand located in the South Pacific. The island territory is famous in the Internet community for giving away Internet domain names ending with its TLD ".tk". While Foxee.Net\'s new www.foxee.tk Tokelau domain name was originally a free domain name that the Tokelau registrar handed out to Project Destiny Studios, we here at Project Destiny Studios wanted to support the Tokelau people and their generosity towards others with their free domain name registrations. This year\'s Ninja High School Yearbook issue contains a drawing created by Project Destiny Studio\'s founder, Daniel Keller. Daniel Keller\'s drawing features the Ninja High School character Princess Asrial, who is the leader of an advanced spacefaring race of alien skunk furries called Salusians. While Asrial is most often depicted as a head-strong firey warrior that is always ready to spring into combat, Daniel Keller chose to show her softer more delicate side by submitting a very racy and seductive pin-up drawing of Asrial undressing out of her military uniform after a long day of fighting amongst the stars. You can see this drawing as well as the work of many other talented artists by picking up a copy of the Ninja High School Yearbook #17 at your local comic book store or ordering it off of Antarctic Press\'s online store! As an interesting side note, Daniel Keller\'s original drawing of Asrial was a little bit too racy in its original form for the Antarctic Press editors! A little bit of one of Asrial\'s areolas was showing in the original drawing, and under Antarctic Press\'s current content policy that had to be edited out for the published version. Don\'t feel too disappointed about that fact, however! There is hope! Daniel Keller really enjoyed the original version of the drawing with its very slight hint of topless female nudity, and thought that what little of Asrial\'s areola was depicted was very tasteful and an important part of the drawing. So that people can see his original vision, he has posted the original unedited drawing exclusively on the Project Destiny Studios website here so that anyone who wants to see the more risque version can if they choose to! Just be forewarned that this version of he drawing is not endorsed by Antarctic Press and that you view it at your own risk!');
