document.write('You are required by Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) to create and teach two work samples.  The purpose of the work sample is to provide “evidence of effectiveness.” I have placed the language from the Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) at the bottom of this document. In the past, TSPC has required that a teacher licensure candidate do a work sample in each authorization level that they are earning. They have just recently relaxed the rules a bit. Recognizing that different teacher education programs have different configurations in which their candidates complete their student teaching, TSPC decided to give programs the option of having the two work samples done at one level. Having said that, TSPC has not removed the requirement that teacher licensure candidates still be able to document “evidence of effectiveness.” So…how does this impact you?
